Someone on Yahoo Answers told me to get a free iPod Nano from this website

http://www.giftcardplace.info/ipod-video/ipod.html

Dont you think it is a very clever way of tricking mnay people. Just think about it. Do you really think they are going to buy i Pods of Apple and give them away free.
And i feel sorry for the person who tried advertising it to me becasue they propably didn't get their iPod but instead they get a loads of junk mail in the post.

Just a lesson to learn, dont get fooled by these internet adverts!

It may well be a fake but could also be geniune (WITH A CATCH !) , a collegue of mine went for a similar scheme to get a cell phone. The link to him to a site then another and another, where he had to sign up to various diiferent free trials of products/services/web sites and magazines. Some of which were gambling sites where he had to place a minimum bet. All of which cost him a fair amount (but apparantly could be recovered). Now 6 months on he managed to get the 'free' phone and has almost all the money back he laid out on each of the trial sites.

So SOME of these COULD lead to a free phone/ipod..etc but who gives anything away for free ?? Someone has to pay for the gifts, and I guess its the 99% of people who don't manage to cancel everything or don't persevere through site after site, page after page to get to the free phone !

There's no such thing as a free lunch !!

It is very fake - on the Boomerang kids channel website a pop up came on about a free PSP, my son clicked on it and put in my e-mail address, the little s*d! I have had loads of e-mails offering me everything from free gym membership to a years worth of shopping, as if !

Remember if it sounds to good to be true - it probably is!

p.s The boy is banned from the PC.

Dude, you have too much time to waste.

I have tried to get a laptop from a similar site about two years ago and guess what, still waiting!
