They travel in an outward motion. Toss a pebble into a pond. Where the pebble hits is the epicenter and the waves dissapate the farther out from the "epicenter". That's kinda like the way earthquake waves work.

Only the earthquake waves will do damage in varying degrees depending on the soil conditions and the underlying rock bed.

The waves of energy produced as a result of an earthquake will travel through any medium, such as the rock layers, air, water, or other liquids. They will travel in a 360 degree radius outward from the focus (the point in the rock where the break occurred) of the quake.

Under the ground. Along the plates of the crust, along a fault line between the plates. If the Seismic wave is strong enough, it not only bends the Crust in it's vibration, but it sends out energy waves capable of breaking rock and dislocating segments of Crust.

They travel away from the source in pretty much all directions through the Earth, gradually losing energy on the way.

I think he liked girls with attitude. Because apparently Debbie Rowe what we've seen of her she's kind of a hag, and Lisa Marie seemed to have this eff off look to her all the time, and even though he wasn't "with" tatiana, she seemed a little off. And not all his women were tall, Lisa Marie is fairly short [5'2]. I think he just loves all women??
