hmmn, this is a tough one. Mall madness is popular but a really sucky game. Gestures is one of the most fun games out there but it isn't the newest. We love Gestures and it is fun right out of the box with like no set up, it is charades for dummies and tons of people can play on teams - yours could be the gift used that very night... Look it up and let me know what you think.

i am a total girlie girl, im 13, and i just turned 13,,, and when i was turning 12 i so did not want board games unless its mall madness or scene it or sumtin, if not just get her a gift card from claires or icing or limited too or sumtin girls love

YOU ARE NUTS!!! I am around that age and would prefer a music C.D or a gift card to a mall. A boardgame i would throw out into my fireplace. But if you insist get Mall Madness.

I am more than 12, but I love catch phrase! It is fun! Apples to apples is a fun game, too.

a gift certifiate to American Eagle I used to give $50 dollar gift certificates to all my friends when we were 12 wait I still do give them that.
