Im not 100% positive about these but ill get as close as i can
hardness- less than 3
appearance- Greyish
luster- I think metallic (shiny like inside of a shell maybe)
Cleavage- Perfect (like thin layers)

i should say the color is greyish, whitish, and slightly transparentish at the edges (im not sure)

muscovite mica? if so, it's a mineral, not a rock.

ok, let's see. Someone said muscovite and that could be true except that muscovite doesn't have a metallic luster. It's actually vitreous. If it really is metallic, then I would say graphite.
Someone else said gypsum, but that is also nonmetallic and it doesn't have a sheet-like cleavage, though it is softer than a fingernail (hardness of 2.5).
It most certainly is not quartz as that has a hardness of 7 on the Mohs scale. So, I would have to go with either muscovite if it is nonmetallic or graphite if it IS metallic.
Hopefully, it's one of those, but if not, then it's probably a mineral I'm not familiar with or just happened to forget.

i´d say it´s quartz, maybe rock crystal. Would be easier, if i could see a photo.
