Ok, so curiosity has gotten the better of me. So women, are thongs as uncomfortable as they look? To me it's like a self-imposed wedgie, but speaking as a guy, I could be completely wrong...thoughts?

You have to get used to them, but they can actually be more comfortable than regular panties. I wear them everyday now

Thongs are so much more comfortable me. It's a self-imposed wedgie that you don't feel! Regular undewear gives you wedgies but its a lot of cloth going up there, you know? A thong is just a little bit of material. Really, you don't even feel the thong, but normal underwear you knoww when it's giving you a wedgie

The difference with a thong is that there is very little material that's being dealt with. A wedgie usually incorporates far more material, hence you feel it more and it's uncomfortable. Thongs really only take a couple minutes to get used to the first time and after that it's like nothing. No pun intended.

What a lot of people don't know is that thongs are only uncomfortable if you are wearing them wrong....A lot of people buy them in the wrong size thinking they will fit just like normal undies do,which they don't. If you get the right size and they lay on your body the right way then they don't move around and they don't give you a wedgie. I even know a couple of guys that wear them without any problems.

They are incredibly comfortable. The thong is very thin you never notice it is even there. Unlike a real wedgie with granny panties. That feels like you've got a bicycle seat in your slacks.

On the flip side, I've always though it would be annoying and uncomfortable to have those round hangy things, that men have to deal with, in my underwear.

Ok, it really matters what kind of thong you buy because as a gift I bought all my friends thongs and two of them find them comfortable and the other three say its like a wedgie but they get used to it. Personly they don't give me a wedgie. Now you should give me best answer because I just posted that I wear a thong.

I look at it like this, bikinis and boy short panties are going to end up there, so why not start off with something that is better designed for it. Make sense? That said, I wear them a lot, but I personally do not think they are all that comfortable. I prefer nylon hi-cut briefs if going for strictly comfort, but they are not that sexy....

Thin of it this way:

Regular underwear (briefs, bikinis, etc.) simply do not stay where they belong. They climb around and bunch up, no matter what you do with them! Honestly, it's like they're men, always trying to get all up in there!

So, really, when you think about it, it's much more comfortable to just have one little string between your cheeks.

Not that I wear them but I can answer too...
There's a lot more material to a pair of briefs than a thong.
If you really want to know if it's uncomfortable...maybe you should get a pair and try them.
No pix please ;)

If they fit well - they don't feel like a wedge. I also think it is something that takes a little getting used to.
