Depends on the area of the country you're in of course, hard to generalize. But not much really, same as any entry level office type job. If you're interested in the medical field there are many other more appealing possibilities. MD being the best of course, but if you're not a genius with $100k and 10 years of your life to burn, then RN is a great choice.

Other options being surgical tech, radiology tech, tele tech, physical therapist or PT assistant, just depends on what you are interested in.

It apparently varies widely from one state to the next. My friend only makes from 6.00 to 7.00 an hour plus mileage.

I had no schooling and work at a Dr.'s office for $11.00/hr.
