my one friend has never listened to The Beatles. Everrr! So I want her to hear all of their CD's and albums. I have about 10 out, and now I cant find out if theres anymore that I need. Help!(<--haha, irony)

The best starting point to get an intro to the Beatles are
"Red" album Beatles 62-66
"Blue" album Beatles 67-70

It's what got me hooked 30 years ago

Best Beatles albums are Rubber Soul, Revolver, Sgt. Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band and Let it Be. Start with those.
The rest was also great, just not as much DEPTH!!!!

Well, the other folks beat me out - but you might consider this:

Explain to your friend why the Beatles were so important to the world of music.

Explain how they grew from I,IV,V chord love songs into philosophical, introspective sounds collages.

They were brilliant writers and later (i.e., the Sgt. Pepper era) wunderkinds in the studio, incorporating an unheard of method in using two separate four-track recorders to layer sounds.

Plus, their tunes are instantly recognized by almost every culture in the world.

The post break-up compilations and re-issues far outnumber the original studio LP's.
