There is nothing wrong with having sex while a women is on her period. If both of you are comfortable with a little blood then go for it. The only thing you have to worry about is cleaning up afterwards, it can get pretty messy :)

It's safe in regards to avoiding pregnancy. There isn't any harm to either partner. Sex during a woman's period does not protect either partner from STDs.

Its not likely that a woman would get pregnant on her period(but possible). You can usually only get pregnant days before and on the day of ovulation. They typically say days 8 through 19 of the cycle are the days of having a high risk of conceiving.

You STILL need to use protection because contrary to popular belief, a woman CAN get pregnant while on her period. The only downfall is that it is very messy and the woman or the man may feel very uncomfortable with the mess.

Yep, it is the safest time as far as pregnancy rate goes. She's less likely to get pregnant.

Just pick the lightest day to have sex.

Safe? It's DISGUSTING, but do you mean will she get pregnant? A woman can get pregnant at ANYTIME in her cycle---even when she's having her period.

It's just nasty.
