You're 25 weeks according to BabyCenter. That's 6 months and 1 week.

This may sound wierd, but do you by any chance know when you got pregnant?

Neither does your doctor. They have to estimate, based on what you tell them. They add 40 weeks from your last cycle, to determine the due date. It's a very good estimate, because almost all babies are born within the time frame given, and a few are born on that exact date.

However some factors can result in a new due date. For example, an ultrasound can reveal that your baby is not the size of a 24 week baby which would be smaller, but a 32 week baby, which would mean you are further along than your doctor said you were. Or, your ultrasound could reveal that your 24 week baby is in fact a 24 week baby.

If the info you supply is correct, the baby can be born on that date, or 2 weeks before or after and still be on time.

Today you are 5 months pregnant.

Using the date they gave you, on February 21st, you will be 6 months pregnant, with 3 months to go. I counted backward from May 21st (your 9th month) to February 21st.

Congratulations Mama.

Oh, buy a small purse calendar anually, and keep track of everything. You will also be able to record baby firsts if you are not at home. Also, the next time a doctor asks for ifo you will be able to tell him. Take the calendar to every appointment.

FYI: Pack for the hospital soon, if someone is not availble to bring your things to the hospital. Babies have a way of surprising us, and you may want to select the things to pack & for baby to wear yourself.

Hope this helps!

Go and search for a due-date-calculator....it will tell you....the thing is that if you communicated the wrong date for your late period, that could have thrown it off....but the other thing could be that they recalculated according to the size of the baby during an ultra sound...If you had one....

Otherwise, if that doesn't make any since to you, I would go ahead and do the due date calculator and give or take two weeks!

There is nothing wrong with taking or giving the two weeks because you are due anywhere after your 36 week date....to be completely honest.....

Typical pregnancy lasts 40 weeks - looks like you have about 15 weeks to go, and are about 25 weeks along. Have you had Ultrasound yet? That usually happens around 20 wks. Good luck!

The due date is calculated from the first day of your last menstrual period. OK, so think back to the last time you had your period. Then think back to the actual day it started. From there count out 40 weeks.

you are just more far along then they tought, chances are you never even noticed the first month that you were pregnant , mayby you had a period that month but the next month you never had one so when you told them the time of your last period they just went with that but you were pregnant a whole month before that. so you are about 24 weeks pregnant and that makes about 6 months pregnant give or take a week. well your lucky that you have to wait one month less-best of luck to you

Count back 40 weeks from your due date, then note where today places on that calendar.
