You know how scientists say we only use a certain percentage of our brains? And that our brain is a certain size? Our brains size is what it is including the sections we don't use. How big would our brains be if the percentage we used is100% of our brain?

The whole 'we only use 10% of our brain' statement is a myth. There isn't a part of our brain that isn't being used, as you can see by looking at brain scans. That particular myth is really old, so probably back then they didn't have the technology to measure brain activity correctly. So the answer to your question is that our brains would be the exact size they are now. :)

The idea that we only use small percentage of our brain capacity is an urban myth. It may reflect the fact that at any given time, only certain areas of the brain are active, depending on what we are doing or thinking about. Most areas of the brain are not active 100% of the time. Using all of our brain at once is called an epileptic seizure.

People who ask this question seem to use less than the rest of us. What you're reading is unadulterated BS. Please find something more useful to do. The brain uses the parts it needs for the tasks at hand, when needed. There is no part that lies fallow, in thinking humans at least.

I think we use our whole brain. You don't use 100% in a conscious way-like adding up your groceries, but some is used for things like reflexes which (I hope) you don't have to tell yourself to do. So, our brains are the right size.
