does anyone know the average GPA for a transfer student accepted? also, is the one in NC just as good as the one in rhode island?

Johnson & Wales is not a very selective school. If you check the collegeboard.com or other sites, they list JWU as l"least selective."

The Providence campus is divided in two - part is in downtown Providence. It is urban but fairly nice - because there are seven colleges in Providence there are a lot of things for young people to do. The other part of the campus is in the next town, a couple miles away. - that's the Culinary part.

The NC campus is brand new so it ought to be pretty nice. I think it is quite a bit smaller, so they may not have all the same majors and programs there. Be sure that they have the program you want before you apply to that campus.

It is an interesting school that does things a bit differently. Incidentally, they are accredited.
