Are puck bunnies annoying to you?

Girls -- do you loathe the chicks who show up in mini skirts and high heels to a HOCKEY GAME? do you think pink jerseys are a horrible, horrible, HORRIBLE creation? or are you a puck bunny?

Guys -- do puck bunnies get a "yay" or "nay"?

Nay, if you need to watch something else besides the hockey game, you shouldn't be watching hockey, period.

As a guy who has played hockey for many years and is wrapping up at the college level, I am a fan of puck bunnies. However, my reason for this is that it is nice to see girls who truely love the game and the guys that play. They are a good time at parties and supportive at games.
Now, as for the mini skirts and high heels, this is a no no. Any true puck bunny knows how to dress for a game so she is warm (and sexy). Its more the attitude of the girls the hockey player likes (looks is a bonus). Its basketball and football players that love the dumb and slutty.
Last but not least, there is no place for a pink jersey in hockey UNLESS it is to support breast cancer awareness!

well, as a girlI guess I was a puck bunny... I dated hockey players through high school and university, and ended up marrying one. I am a huge fan of the game ( and my Leafs especially) and can talk hockey with the best of them.

My son is now an elite Minor Midget aged hockey player, and I am his biggest fan.

I have never shown up wearing minis or high heel shoes... jeans and a sweater, cute hat and boots have always been my thing. Actually, I had never really seen girls dress inappropriately for a game until last year, when one of my son's teamamtes' sister always wore tube tops and minis.... in the winter. She was a hoochie and I couldn't stand her. The boys all made fun of her, they thought she was pretty raunchy too. the boys like it when the girls come to watch, but not dressed for the club!

The pink merchandise has GOT to go. I want to wear my team's blue and gold. Not one team in the NHL has pink as one of its colors, so why should I pay good money to buy a pink jersey or a pink mug? I believe jerseys need to be made in women's sizes to fit women's bodies, but I have to say that I think the whole men's jersey with a miniskirt thing is kind of cute, but you have to do it right, with sneakers and pigtails or a ponytail. You shouldn't have to dress (or ACT) like a man to be considered a true fan. I know more about hockey than any of my guy friends, and I yell as loud as any of them when the Sabres are on TV or when I'm at a home game for my division III school's hockey team, but I'm still a girl, no beer guzzling or 3XL jersey necessary. Mostly, I think the girls in their pink jerseys and high heeled shoes are sad and amusing; they are in the wrong place to pick up a man, because when hockey's being played, nobody cares about anything that isn't on the ice.

Ok as a hockey player... i have to say puck bunnies are cool....but chicks who show up in skirts and heels are NOT puck bunnies....they are there for attention of the general public and not hockey players. puck bunnies are fans who happen to be into players....with the advantage that they could hook up with a player. The whole pink jersey thing is difficult because the idea of breast cancer.....but i have a suspicion that nhl is tryin to over sell it and sell pink jerseys for marketing. True puck bunnies i give a "yay" .....wannabe's i give a "nay"

Boo football groupies! Hooray Puck Bunnies!

"I loves me some puck bunnies!"
-Will Smith, overheard during a Philadelphia Phantoms game.

"I pity the fool that don't like no puck bunnies!"
-Mr. T, after a recent New York Rangers game.

They are far superior to football hoochies and basketball chickenheads. Heck, hockey's fangirls even have a cute and kinda sexy name (thanks to Hugh Hefner!). I don't care how they dress, so long as they aren't trashy. Blue jeans and a nice sweater (or form-fitting jersey) can be quite arousing at a hockey game.

And when it comes to pink jerseys, I'm all for them. Girls wearing pink drives me up the wall--in a good way. Let's just keep the pink jerseys off of the ice unless it's a women's team or a breast cancer fundraising game.

The pink sweaters (not jerseys) are a horrible, horrible abomination and should be collected and burned. If you don't know the game, learn it. Don't sit there and "booo" when there is an icing call on your (presumably) home team and cheer when there's one on the opposing team. Booing and cheering icing calls is the sign of a true idiot who should not even be at the arena.

I like enthusiasm towards the sport and players, and I like those with knowledge. if they come to the rink wearing ridiculous clothing, so be it. As long as they know their Henrik Tallinders from their Teppo Numminens, I'm fine.
