It doesn't go by when you had intercourse. It goes by your periods. You really won't know until you miss your period.

It depends when in your cycle you are. But research suggest 19 after intercourse something in your urine can be detected but this might not show up straight away depending on when your period is. But you an have a blood test 7 days after intercourse whether the hospital does that is a different story.

Hope it helps

On a home pregnancy test ...some can be taken up to 4 days before you expect your period. (or 10 days after ovulation) Depends on the test, some don't come up positive until a few days after you expect your period. The good ones are more sensitive to smaller amounts of hcg -- the chemical that u produce when u become pregnant.
You are supposed to use your first morning urine, as this has the highest - undiluted - levels of the hcg.
I myself used one every day starting 5 days before my period for 8 cycles. When i finally did become pregnant i got a VERY faint line 11 days after i ovulated ( so 3 days before i expected my period) it was very very fain, i actually had thrown it out and dug it out of the trash a few hours later to see a line had appeared, barely but it was there. I also had one 3 days later on the date of my expected period at the Dr. and it didn't show up pregnant. So it all depends on the test.

I got a positive result 9 days after sex, 6 days after ovulation (which was 9 days before my period was even due). It depends on how close to ovulation you have sex because you get pregnant within 24 hours of that. If you had sex the day of or the day afterwards, then it would be just 6 days, if you had sex 4 days beforehand, then it would 10 days minimum if you buy the really early detectors. I bought my test at www.early-pregnancy-test.com. I got 18 test for $15.00, and they tell you 6 days after ovulation. My line was really faint though, so i took another test 2 days later to make sure.

Some pregnancy testing kits will give you an answer 5 days before your period is due (for 51% of women). But it really depends on the time from when you had intercourse to when your period is due.
