It seems nothing is good enough for these people who seem to contribute so little to society, but take so much.

They seem to want it all ways when they've had a much better deal.

You say that they are "doing everything in their power to ensure her safe return"? Can I just ask exactly what that is? They have not gone to Malta where she has been spotted, they have not done any door to door enquiries (which I would have thought they would have done from the start). Where is the £850,000 raised on their website going? Why are they spending so little time with their other two children? Most of us and certainly myself have a great deal of compassion for Madeleine. They made a mistake and when they actually can admit that they made a mistake and were wrong, then perhaps people will feel more compassion for Gerry and Kate. If a childminder or sitter left your child and something happened to them, would you still be so compassionate about them? I think not! Just look at the bigger picture before you support them, look at what they have done. They are probably the most hated people at the moment and although it doesn't turn back the clock, they have no-one to blame but themselves!

Well, speaking as a baby boomer, the only one I hear complaining right now is you.

Edited: Oh, and by the way: You do know that Bill Gates, who is one of the entrepreneurs of the computer world, is a baby boomer, right? You've got a lot to learn, kiddo.

I agree that most are whiny and have an entitlement mentality, but I fail to understand how you can claim that they "contribute so little to society." Based on their numbers alone, they're largely the backbone of the economy, among other things.

Whose complaining? It was the baby boomers that made our economy today, what are they (me) complaining about?? How the younger generation should step up to the plate? Can't be security, I'm set and worked hard to get there. Give me a specific?
