It's a deep dark brooding book about the confrontations between a pre-industrial revolution society and the growing urban setting that is rapidly consuming that aspect of life. We see the three bears representing a traditional way of life, values and appreciation of environmental resources. Goldilocks is the robber barons and sweat shops drivers that will strive to turn a profit on the very backs of people being harmed by the conversion to a factory way of life.
That or it's just about some bears, some porridge and a ditsy blond. I don't know...you make the call. --Andy

If you search the Internet for "Three little Bears", it not only will give you the whole story, but pictures and other things.
You don't need a book, your computer and the Internet will take care of you just fine.
God bless you and your son :)

once there was a little boy named(insert your son's name here) but everyone called him Goldilocks from his blond hair. Goldilocks was told to not leave his yard, but he didn't listen to his mother and left the yard. He got lost in the woods and wandered fro days. finally he found a small cottage in the woods. The three bears lived in the cottage, but they had gone for a walk while they waited for their porridge to cool. Goldilocks ate all the Porridge because he was hungry from being lost in the woods for days. He then went into the living room to watch TV. He ended up breaking the chair and the TV,so he decided to go into the bedroom and take a nap. the bears came home and found all their food gone and their TV and chairs broken. this made the bears very angry. when they found Goldilocks they ate him so kids , always listen to your mother, so you don't end up eaten by bears. the end
