Without love of any sort, or just the fantasy love of finding a partner for the rest of your life? I'll describe life without love of any sort first and let you make up your mind.

To understand what life is without love, we must see what love is, where love exists. love consists of a soul connection. which means to understand and have true love, we need to understand what our souls are and how they affect everything we do.

Your soul is the center, the very core, of who you are as a creative, original and individual human being. Your soul is what is expressed in the arts, it is that power that you feel in a painting, a photograph, a play, a dance, a poem, anything creative and artistic at all really. The soul defines who we are, yet sadly, few are in touch with their soul, few ever find who they truly are. Because of this, few people ever find true love, in any form. The soul is who you are and is a mandatory half in any love that exists for you.

Now that we see what our soul is, we can look further into what love is. As I have previously mentioned, love is a connection of the soul. This can be with another human soul, an animal soul, nature, a society, a city, a house, an object, an ideal, anything at all. There are two basic parts of true love, combined creating full true love, being in love and being loved. To be in love, your soul must connect to what you love. Your soul must posses a need for that person's soul, that beauty in nature, that magic in the ideal. To be loved, another soul must need your soul, must have connected to yours and be dependent on it. For full true love to occur, both of these things must happen in a connected way. This creates the most beautiful and magical symbiotic relationship known in this reality.

To comprehend what life would be like without love, we have to realize the love that lies in the beauty of nature. Nature is the simplest form and most common form of beauty known. Beauty, different form physical attraction or sensual appeal, is the driving force between the connection that forms love. A love between our soul and nature is in itself pure and true, and therefore may be the greatest love of all, due to its power and its accesibility.

Without love, none of this could exist. There could be no human interaction, for without love you would no longer feel what you feel for your family, your friends, those who you hold close and dear to you. Although few are graced by true love to it's purest extents, true love is echoed in all of our lives for our souls are echoed in all of our lives, no matter how out of touch you are with your own. You would lose so much of what makes life worth living.

However, if you only removed the love between two people searching for romance and finding romance in each other, things would change a lot elss dramatically. The most beautiful and pure things of life would sitll remain, although the greatest symbiotic relationship would be lost, beauty would remain as a blessing for all of us, and we coudl still connect and live our lives with hope.

Life in its true essence. Life is not about love; if you need love to exist, you probably have relationship disorder, where you're essentially addicted to relationships.

Pardon my pessimism, but "love" is really just lust; the firing of neutrons in the brains, hormone attatchment, the social fear of being alone.

There have been a lot of hokey responses about how "life is love" and so forth, but really, human beings are just too egotistic. Our purpose is the same as any other being on this earth; procreate and die. Although we can afford to skip out on the "procreate" part, thanks to the massive numbers of humans inhabiting the world today.

life without love, is simply that; life. what is life without hate? same answer. if love were necessary for life, trees would be in trouble (according to most philosophical views)...then again, why assume that other biotic beings can feel love and hate.

A sad life, of no risk, no warm feelings of being loved, no heartache, no lessons to be learned, no experience, and sadly no love for others.
