Most profesions require you to have an average or above grade in, english maths and a sience, depends what you want to teach tho, history is a very interesting subject, and physical ed will help to keep you fit and de-stressed too x

Hey, English and Maths are compulsory, so obviously you'd have to take those. Other than that I would suggest taking subjects that you enjoy and are good at, seeing as there are no specific compulsory subjects. I would recommend, however, more academic style subjects, such as history/geography, although subjects such as art and music can be good too; it largely depends on what you enjoy.

Another brief suggestion; be fairly general with your choices. You may change your mind before the two years are out. For example, I wanted to be a doctor through Year 9 to Year 11; I'm now in Year 12 and want to study history at university, so your ideals may change quite a lot in the next few years.

Good luck!

Primary - 5 GCSE's (A-C) including English, Maths and Science.
Secondary - 5 GCSE's (A-C) including English and Maths.

Then minimum 2 A-Levels and 3 or 4 years university.

At GCSE is doesn't matter what you chose really. At A-level you must do english, maths and science. Go to university and study probs one of them there then go on a teachers course where they introduce you into schools.
I found this site really useful for stuff bout wanting to be a teacher and the different ways you can go into it, the wages etc.
