But How do you use them? Do you use them in every day life and if so how?

Coal is a fuel and is used in domesticity and industry.Petrol / cars.Iron is used for construction and ships.Gold / jewellery Limestone is used for building.Salt is used in cooking .Clay /pottery. Gypsum is a crystal. Slate is used in building, slate roof /floor. Zinc / tablets.Potash/ garden. Arable Land is used in farming / meadow land / fields. Silica is often used as a moisture absorbing agent in packaging. It also is used in strengthening agents i.e.nails /hair/ .
