So, in the middle of winter, how do single people apply lotion to their backs? I guess I can only reach so far and want to know how others get the lotion to the hard-to reach places.

First of all you don't have to be single for this information. couples aren't together 24/7. You can use a towel with some moisturizer on it, and rub it back and forth over you back. Also you can try using the head of a back washer brush, the kind you use to wash your back in the shower. put it on the back of the head, not the part with the bristles. Or you can purchase a long reach lotion applicator for about $10.00. you can find one using this link.

Get a back scratcher, wrap a towel around it and apply the lotion...

If you are somewhat flexible, it is possible to apply lotion to all areas of your body, including your back. But it's easier to ask someone else to do it for you...

there are things you can buy that are a back scratcher on one side and a lotion applier on the other.
