REMEMBER THE ALAMO

Lets see:

Texas had been granted independence by Mexico ten years earlier.

California had 'de facto' independence for about the same time period (and in fact the US was providing its mail service and courts.)

The people of Arizona and New Mexico agreed to join the US in return for promises of government services (mail, courts, military presence etc.)

A really good argument could be made that Mexico had effectively abandoned those territories through sheer ineptitude and neglect.

If you are saying the US robbed Mexico it it's territory - read your history. CA, TX, NM, etc were BOUGHT from Mexico. The US legally owns the area.

So, all the illegal alien criminals that claim they are really in Mexico when they are actually in CA, ARE WRONG. They are criminals for breaking US law.

BTW your question isn't very clear. You should work on your English.

You mean the one we won in a war (as Mexico got the land itself to begin with) and then paid for and forgave debts for and then was signed in agreement by both countries?

That territory?

Robbery is too harsh a word! We fought; you lost;enough said. Miami was never Mexican territory.

Your question is incoherent, but Miami was never part of Mexico.

Give Mexico back to Spain!

Actually, the US paid for those territories. The Mexican government agreed to the terms to resolve the border dispute.

Why can't Mexicans remember this?

I think the real question is, "Why didn't we take all of it? If we had we would have fewer problems and the people of Mexico would be alot happier.

Texas won its own freedom and then joined the US ten years later. The rest is manifest destiny.
