First you need to convert the fraction to a decimal. Do this by dividing the top of the fraction by the bottom. So, for 1/2, divide 1 by 2 and you get 0.5

Next, multiply the decimal by 100 to get it to be a percent (you can just move the decimal point two places to the right)

0.5 x 100 = 50 ...so the answer is 1/2 = 50%

Just go through the same process for the other fractions.

1/2 divide the top number(numerator) by the bottom number(denominator) = .5 move the decimal place over two = 50%
1/6 = .1666... = about 17%
3/4 = .75 = 75%
15/16 = .9375 = about 94%
5/2 = 2.5 = 250%

The above answers are correct. If you have a calculator, just divide the top number by the bottom number. Then to convert it to a percentage all you have to do is move the decimal place two places to the right.

Example 1/6

1 divided by 6 = 0.16666666

Percentage = 16.666666
