Rather than getting all fired up for the Olympics in 2012, shouldn't we be getting ready to rub the French noses in it in 2015 for the Battle of Waterloo bicentiniary?

It's going to cost a fortune but what the hay - you have to do it. I for one see it as a triumph.

It is good for Britain. Pity we can't budget worth a damn - anyway Labour will be long gone by then - so who cares!

Waterloo doesn't really matter any more.
