Religions aren't smart. Religions are about Faith, not Reason.
Perhaps you and your friend could move on to a more productive argument like if you had two average stones, of equal size, which stone would take less time to go soft if you boil it.

No smart religions-smart people. Reasons. Why do you believe what you believe? If I believed what my parents believed just because my parents believed what they believed, then you could say something about my intelligence. The only smart/stupid thing about religion comes from whether it is personal or collective. Collective religion seems pretty stupid to me. You need to discover religion for yourself in order to be intelligent about the issue. You cannot just believe what you are told. You have to have faith for yourself; someone elses faith ill not do. Personal religions are smarter. Sometimes what some people view as a personal religion is really just as collective as anything else. Christainity is this way. Some people just are into it to be with the group, but others feel it is a deeply personal religion. Some religions, however were always collective and will always be. Tribal religions are like that. I think for religion to be worth while people must personally believe and not just go along with the crowd. If it's worth it, it will be smart.

Well you spelled religions wrong -but my preference for the world's smartest, because they are the most non-violent and peaceful would be the Buddhism belief.

The smartest religions are the ones that don't say that they are the one true religion, and try to get everyone to convert.
No offense meant, really!

It's just opinion, and you would have to make your own list of smartest religions.

there are no smartest religions. I do admire the Buddhist the most. They seem to have it together more than the rest of us do.

Your question makes no sense.
Studies have shown, however, that there is a significant negative correlation between religiousity and IQ.
