it depends on how big the file is try using firefox. If that don't work try downloading it at night or when your not on your computer. Or just download windows media player 10.

dial up right, mine took 4 1/2 hours go to an off sight not microsoft to get your download.

i download it yeserday it took about 5mins 6 hours is silly r u having trouble downloading other stuff what i mean is does other stuff take a long time aswell.

on a 512 adsl connection should take 10 mins, what time of day are you downloading, your isp might be throttling your download speed

It depends on your connection speed. It's only a 30MB file so it should not take that long unless you have a real slow connection.

I would say that it depends what speed your internet connection is ,if you are on dial up it will take ages..also make sure you dont have a firewall stopping you .good luck.Tony.
