Will an XBox 360 controller work for Halo 1 on a PC?

I know XBox 360 controllers with the USB wire work for the PC, but I want to know if it's compatable with Halo 1 for the PC.

There is a program that will allow you to use a 360 controller on ANY game that uses the keyboard. Search for "Total Game Control"

Nah sorry to say that it wont. Ive tried it before with a friend. It would be sick if it did.
