Taking Back Sunday and Fall Out Boy are NOT punk rock bands.
Green Day used to be very punk rock until they got superpopular... then they started writing more political songs and anti government songs.
I think that The Ramones and The Sex Pistols and The Misfits and The Clash are some classic punk rock bands.

I love all of those, but I wouldn't consider them all to be punk. Taking Back Sundays' first CD was punk...
Old Green Day wasn't bad, but now it kinda sucks.
But still, those are some of my favorite bands.
Do you like the Pink Spiders? They're really good.
I saw them, Taking Back Sunday, Angels and Airwaves, The Subways, 30SecondsToMars, and a bunch of others. They're awesome live. I'm going to see Cute Is What We Aim For with All Time Low and This Providence.
You should check them out...

The bands that you just wrote aren't really what I consider real punk.
Go listen to old-school AFI. Surprise, surprise. Most people don't actually know that AFI was a hardcore-punk band that formed 16 years ago.
Their first 3 albums were great, classic punk records.
The rest of their albums and EP's are still punk but with more variation.

There aren't any real punk bands now a days.The bands you mentioned are weak pop band. Their fake and lame.You want to hear real punk,listen to Bad Brains,Dead Kennedys or Fugazi.This is the real Sh*t.

kids, kids kids,,, real punk comes in the form of Sex Pistols, Black Flag, Minutemen, Subhuman, Dead Kennedys, etc.,,, Green Day is a pop-punk band for bubblegummers,,,as is most of the commercial punk put out for mass consumption.
