I have lost my voice. My throat isn't sore and I haven't got a cold, but it is really irritating. My voice seems to go from deep and husky to mickey mouse to non existant. Is there anything I can gargle etc to get my regular voice back.

P.S. This seems to happen this time every year. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Squeek Squeek

Sounds like laryngitis, which does not hurt and last a day or two. Just enjoy not to have to talk

The best thing you can do is to rest your voice, trying to strain and talk could cause further problems. Have you tried inhaling steam? Gargle with T.C.P or Listerine.

Try some honey with lemon. I'm not sure if it will do the trick, but it's something my abuelita used to give me for my throat as a child.
