Right now it is a balmy -11F, it got down to -20F last night here in SW Wisconsin.

It's 67 degrees here. I'm in California. And my rent at $1240.00 a month - for a 2 bedroom, 1 bath, 50 year old duplex - is considered a great deal. Houses here cost $600K - $700K for an old 3 bedroom 2 bath in a not so great neighborhood. So - you get the weather you pay for - pretty much.

It is -25.7 here at Mount Washington, NH at my last observation I did. Winds are gusting to over 100 mph providing a windchill of near 80 below.

I AM IN MINNESOTA. CURRENTLY, AT 4:19 PM CST, IT IS 1 DEGREE F. THIS MORNING WHEN MY HUBBY LEFT AT 6:30 AM, HE TOLD ME IT WAS -23, I THINK WITH WINDCHILL. IT'S COLD. A LADY IN THE CITIES LEFT HER CHILD IN THE CAR, UNATTENDED, CAR NOT RUNNING, FOR HALF AN HOUR. SOMEONE FOUND IT AND REPORTED IT. THE CHILD WAS NOT PROPERLY DRESSED AND HAD SIGNS OF EARLY FROSTBITE ON THEIR FINGERS. POOR KID. WHAT A WORTHLESS MOTHER.....
