This is not a marketing question, I am curious who are becoming fosterparents and why? Or why NOT?

I know that foster parents are really needed; I also know that with the job comes alot of pressure and rules from the state. We only hear about the bad people that become foster parents, never the good ones. I know there are some, but I've not heard of any personally. It would be very difficult to be a foster parent in that at any time the state can come in and take the child you've invested so much time and love on. They (the state) have "surprise" visits to see that everything is done to their liking. The pay is really low, and their is no respect for the job you are doing by anyone. All said, No I would not become a foster parent.

Yes it is something I would consider doing. Because there are so many children that don't have good home lives, abused, ignored, hungry, homeless. Children should not be punished for adults poor decisions. I am compassionate and if I had the means I would take in children and adults that are homeless and in need of care and affection.

This is something I have often pondered myself....And I came to the conclusion I just did not have what it takes to take in, accept, love, nurture and provide for a child just to turn around and give them back to people who I would feel did not deserve such a magnificent thing as a child of their very own....It would simply be way too hard on my heart....And I do not feel I could do it....But I have great admiration for the people who can and do everyday....ss
