Coz I think Rooney is more dedicated to football than Beckham. Beckham's like consumed by popularity so that he's not that dedicated to football. For Rooney, football is his life. So I'm sure, yes, Rooney'll end up being worth more than Beckham.

You mean in playing ? I think Wayne Rooney is worth more than Beckham because he's young and talented unlike beckham he's a bit older now. As you old your quality of playing is not the same when you were young.

He may, one day, end up with a bigger transfer value placed on his head, but as a global brand I don't see anyone topping Beckham in the near or even the distant future. Beckham has been an exceptional phenomenon, but the money has to run out or be pegged back in football sooner or later, and I don't see that kind of thing happening again. I think transfer fees will also have to get more sensible soon unless the top leagues in European football all end up owned by the likes of Ambramovich and there is only a finite number or Russian billionaires on the planet.

He has got to win the world cup, then he will prove to us all what a waste of space beckhams been the last 4 years.
He is the most valuble player already in the uk.Ronaldo his team mate is the most wanted player in europe though.
I think he can go on in football and produce more than the free kick expert.You should'nt have to rely on free kicks to win matches.Thats what has cost us in the last 2 world cups.
Beckham was not as good as gazza or lineka or beardsly

I never think so... First of all Rooney is not humble and that's one of the quality that made Beckam grow and the other thing is that Beckam is the most charismatic player the world has ever had.
Pele is the king because he played like no one did but Beckam only the name makes money for him. He is like Michael Jackson (as good as any good singer but more charismatic than all)

I don't think he'll get all the advertising contracts and I personally can't see him being the new face of Gillette.. but hey, I could be wrong..
Plus I would find it very odd to watch the future generations trying to copy a few of Rooney's new haircuts?!?
