which is easier skiing or snowboarding?

i ski and i tried to board but i instead skied so i want to know which is easier

dont bother to answer i figured out that I LIKE SKIING

Skiing is easier to learn, but harder to master.
Snowboarding is harder to learn but easier to master.
Personally, I think snowboarding is a lot more fun, gives you a better workout, and is more challenging. I've tried both, each for over five years. That's my opinion.

The first days on a snowboard may be more difficult than skiing,but once you get the basic balance the learning curve with a snowboard tends to be much quicker.Once both reach a certain level the skier is challenged with a much more demanding sport that rewards the effort put forth.
the snowboard by design is a much simpler,slower,less versatile means to move over the snow.I am not saying that snowboarding is any more or less fun than skiing,its just different.Basically it takes a lot more work to be a true expert skier,but once you reach that level you have so many more options then a boarder

two people got it right...you are going to crash more your fist days on a snowboard, but it is really easy after that, skiing can take a life time to get good at. I know this well, I snowboarded for 15 years and was very good, then I went back to skiing and could go fast as all hell, but was stylistically horrible, it too me too years (75 -90 days) to get to a point where I am now a good skier (many of the techniques involved cross over the between the sports) skiing is much more challenging and you can go much faster both for the same reasons...two edges. and yes skiing is much more versitle. you made the right choice

Well actually people tell me that skiing is soo much easier... but i think snowboarding is... but just stick with the one you want to do then you'll get good at it at anytime... i got good at snowboarding in a week!!

Skiing is easier. ive skied and nowboarded, but i think skiing is easier. skiing, you just have to be able to stand on your skies and how to stop. but snowboarding, you fall alot, and you need lots of balance to stay up. its hard to lean how to turn on snowboards, but once you get it, its realy easy.you can do jumps better, and its funner. skiing, you can go realy fast, and it is easy. its easy to turn, and you can do cool things on jumps, but the bindings fall off, and its hard to get them back on. i think snowboarding is funner when you get how to do it, but skiing is easier.
