He is almost 11 years old. He came up with "Deuce," but I'm not so sure about it. Any other ideas?

My friends gave me my nickname let his friends give the nickname. I don't really think a kid name Derek needs a nickname that everyone will call him. If he really wants a nickname add in stuff he likes to do or he is good at. Like if he is fast call him SPEEDY if he plays hockey and has a good shot call him SLAP SHOT something clever and funny works all the time. Deuce is a regular name that isn't really a nickname anyway.

Well why dont you look up in the internet a place where you can write your name and they will give you a nickname, those are always fun!..Or also on the same method, get him an authentic indian name, using his name.. just type it on the search bar, i'm sure you will get a website that's cool!
My son's name is Cody, and i call him codemister, codeman, and golden boy! :)

Believe me ... Deuce isn't that bad ... try Deer-Lick ... that's what my cousins call their buddy Derek ... lol ... I like the suggestion Deek ... it's cute - but mysterious ... !!
