No. Fires have been a regular part of the landscape ever since plants found their way onto land. Many natural fires are started by lightning and some plants base their reproduction strategy on burning. The seeds will only grow after being scorched.

Man discovered fire, it was already there waiting.

Humans did not create fire, we discovered it. Fire is nothing more than a chemical reaction between oxygen and fuel. However to "create" a fire we need to heat the fuel enough to cause a chemical reaction, e.g. by friction.

Fire erupts from the combustion of the invisible substance of phlogiston (terra pinguis), which exists everywhere.
Have you heard Greek story of Prometheus, the man who stole fire and spread it for all humans to use? He actually stole some phlogiston.

Yea i think God made a lighting storm and the lighting problem hit a trre and made it catch on fire then a cave man came and took a stick and lit it on fire

the "cave children" went to cub scouts and learned to make fire. haha, no I would guess lightning, a volcano, or a meteor caused fire.

Never mix religion with fact, religion is what governments have always used to control humans. "be good or your going to hell"
