i have this male friend who i use to go to school with we talk every now and then but theres notihng romantic between us.every time we speak hes making comments about how he wants a serious relationship ,orhow he wants to find the right woman and how hes tired of being alone.would you think hes hinting toward something or just making conversation?

Hmmmm either or. He might just feel comfortable talking about things like that with you. Most guys dont talk to each other about those type of things so its easy to let it out on a female friend. I'm sure if he wants something with you, he wont be able to keep it in for long and let you know one way or another. Keep your eyes and ears open!

Without a doubt hes hinting for more, but if your not romanticly interested in him it would be very harmful to give in to his feelings. Just let him know that you value his friendship too much and don't want to risk losing it over a possible failed relationship.

It sounds as though he's just making conversation but some guys a fraidy cats and need a nudge. Why don't you ask him what sort of woman he's looking for? What qualities would she have?
