I did a search for good and evil on google?

Question

Good gives 1,190,000,000 results whilst evil only gives 173,000,000 results. What other things can I compare this way to get a difinitive answer to an age old question?

Good and Evil rely on your frame of reference, and religion. So you will have MANY absolute answers, may of which will directly conflict with each other.

An evil person (from your point of view) can think he was doing good. History determines many as evil or good, and even that changes.

Here's one answer: Good is want God wants, likes or enjoys, where evil is what he hates.

And another: good is what benefits mankind in general. Evil is taking away one man's share of this benefit.

And so on, and so on. It's a very philosophical question with, I think, no absolute answer. But most of us know it inside (from the way we were raised), which will agree or disagree from someone from a different background.

Well, simply, good is a much more everyday word than evil, so of course that would be the result. Try more specific words.
