You must mean the steady drain on social services. They cannot be refused at hospitals so you know who pays. Americans have to work 40 quarters for social security benefits, immigrants just 18 months for benefits. Look it up. Good question.

Immigrants do not get government help but refuge's do. the refuges get help because they usually are leaving a war torn country with nothing but what they can carry. The government gives them aid for 2 years. That includes housing & monthly cash payments.They also help the refuges get jobs. I know a family of 12 from Cambodia who came here as refuges in the early 70s & lived in a 4 bedroom apartment. 5 adults worked 12 hrs. a day 6 days a week & pooled their money for the household while the grandmother watch the minor children. 3 sons & 1 daughter are married & have all bought homes. They took the goverment aid & made something of them self. I know americans who just take & take as long as the gravy train will let them. these refuges are glad for the aid from their new friends & are working hard to fit in 5 of them worked at my lumber yard. I wish I had more of them They were good hard working citizens,.. Before somone yells they were cheap labor for me I can tell you none made less then$10 ahr. .

I believe that when you talk about immigrants, you actually mean Mexicans. I don't really know if they get more tax breaks and exemptions but it's a fact that Mexicans belong to state and federal government since the day they arrive to the US. Otherwise, the democrats and drive-by media would be pushing so hard for amnesty.

It could be that the help is based on need and they have a greater need. With regard to tax breaks the government 1 needs to know they exist, (If they are illegal that may be hard for the IRS to prove).2 Are you sure they get tax breaks and exemptions?

It may be something related to non-citizens such as when mega corporations put their headquarters off shore (Bermuda) they don't have to pay tax in the US. Tyco and Stanley are a couple that come to mind.

in most country's, that know that immigration is an advantage, cultural and economically,immigrants get this kind of help for a short time,so they can adapt,find work,send children to school,and with a Little luck,make money,pay taxes and with this taxes, help other immigrants,and of course, the new country.

Immigrants do not get more. However, salary brackets means different tax refunds. Considering that immigrant are in general (not by norm) the least favored in salaries, they do get different tax breaks and such. But The same exact tax rules apply to the whole tax brackets. Be it native or immigrant.
