Too small

Are you sure you are pregnant?
That happened to me. I was about 4 weeks pregnant and the doctor did the ultrasound and all there was was an empty pregnancy sac. I was like "are you sure I'm pregnant?" and he said yes definetly. It was just way too early. At first the embryo just looks like an alien formation but its not until about after your first trimester or there abouts (10-12 weeks) that it starts to look like a REAL baby. I went back a week later and they found the embryo the size of a grain of rice. A lot of growth takes place from week to week so just give it time...if you are sure you are pregnant.
As of today I am 21 weeks 3 days and there is definetly a baby in there.

This does not necessarily mean anything is wrong yet. You may be earlier in the pregnancy than thought or the ultrasound may just not be picking it up (baby position, blocked by bladder, etc). Did you ask your doctor? I'm sure they would have said something if there was cause for concern. Is there still a heartbeat?

It depends on how far along you are. If you are only in the first eight weeks, it means nothing. Farther along means you could have what is called a molar pregnancy, which is the absence of a baby but there is a placenta and all the symptoms of pregnancy. I don't know why people ask these things on yahoo! Go ask your OB.

That means there is nothing in the belly. No baby, no nothing. That means you lost the baby, or had a miscarry.

Could be too early or you are not pregnant anymore.
