Pharmacist makes about 100K for filling bottles. More can be made in Specialty labs....PharmD is a Doctorate of Pharmacy now mandatory.
Anesthetist is an MD and makes around 450k-650K.

Do what you like. Some people would be bored out of their minds being a pharmacist (no, they don't just fill pills... that's actually more of the pharm tech's job). Some would feel the same about being an anesthesiologist.
It takes longer to be an anesthesiologist. Salary range is from $200K-600K. Really depends. But what kills them is the cost of malpractice insurance. Hours can really suck, especially compared to a pharmacist.

Define better. An anesthetist is a MD while a pharmacist is not. If you want to spend less time in school, go for pharmacist. Notice I did not say it was necesarily easier.
