You've probably heard this one during the commercials... if you ever have an erection lasting more than 4 hours (priapism) you need to get emergency medical attention. No matter what the other guys on here are going to tell you....
Other than that, you're fine. It can be kind of hard to control anyways. If you're concerned, talk to a doctor.

Studys say guys think about sex every 6 mins!!!!
and thats why i thin we always have an erection i could be in english class and i would besiiting down thenn all of the sudden it pops up and im like OH CRAP and i try to hide it but its natural i alredy looked it up and my problem is i wear short that it is easily noticeable and its embarassing dude lol

Erections just happen. Normally, they are most frequent during puberty, but boys/men of all ages have them. As long as you don't have one all the time or one for a really long time, you are fine.

Guys get an erection every 10 minutes approximately, If you are feeling uncomfortable with gettin' one every 10 minutes than make yourself busy with something .. clean your dirty *** room or go clean your dad's car this will keep your sexual attention away for a couple of hours..

Is usually for a teenage boy to have one every few minutes.
Everytime you think about sex.
Everytime you see someone you fancy.
Everytime the wind blows!
As long as it doesn't last a few hours straight, you'll be fine.
If it does last very long, over a few hours, go to a doctor immediately!
