The politician has to be at least 45 years old, and his age is prime numbers, so it has to be at least 51, and it can't be the same digit, like 55 or 77. Since the politician is at least 51, George can't be older than that, so the first digit of George's age, and the second digit of the politicians age must less than 5. That makes it 1, 2, or 3. So your choices are
51, 52, 53, 71, 72, 73. Anything less than 55 results in a singe digit number when you subtract 45, so all the 50s are out. That leaves
71, 72, 73. Subtract 45 from each one and see with one gives the reverse digits.
72!

Since the difference is odd, one of the primes must be 2 (otherwise odd - odd = even). So George is 20-something . Add 45 and you get 70-something, so 27 and 72 must be it. Sure enough, 72 - 27 = 45.

Follow the steps:
a) P = G + 45
b) xy = yx + 45
c) 10x + y = 10y + x + 45
d) 9x - 9y = 45 then x - y = 5
e) as x and y are prime numbers and each has only one digit,
then the only option is x=7 and y =2
f) P age is 72
