I would call the police. Let them figure out what really happened.

And I would next call HR and get instructions from them.

Why should there have to be video evidence? If she claims she was assaulted then the police should be called. They will take her to the hospital and do a victims workup and get all the evidence they need.

Even if her word is in doubt you should insist that she make a police report. There are penalties for making a false report and that might be enough for her to admit that she lied if she did.

By law you have to separate them and make sure they don't work during the same shift. Regardless if it is frivilous or not. If you don't do something about it she can sue the heck out of you. Especially if something else happens.
