Tragic it is...

With many of these people it is really a health issue, many are suffering a mental illness, a mental illness many of which are caused by bacterial infections, and since they are not being treated, many of which are out of touch with reality because of the toxins within the system they do not get treated, and cannot cope with other people becaue of their illnesses.

The real problem is the mental health industry, that does not educate people on how mental illness can be caused by infections....!!!!!!!!

I recall a homeless person we rented to, who suffered from schizophrenia, he later developed Crohns Disease, a breakdown of parts of the intestinal system. Today, my research on the internet suggests he may have had an intestinal infection, as simple as giardia, that went undetected.

A doctor tells me 'giardia' the most common of bacterial parasites, needs 4-5 tests for treatment.

Tragic....to get back to your question, the real problem is a health issue...

Because there will always be a small percentage of people who will be homeless.
No matter how much money you throw at this 'problem', there will always be those who are homeless.
Whether it is mental illness, drug abuse, or alcoholism.

You can't end homelessness.

Sorry, but it is a Utopian, idealist question.
