they are already a good team, but they could use someone to support lebron. but, i don't think they NEED to.

There backcourt in one of the worst in the NBA. In particular, they need a better point guard. If they don't make a deal, I can't see them advancing any further then the 2nd round of the playoffs. Detroit is better then the Cavs. So is Miami, if Shaq and D-Wade are healthy. It's even arguable that the Wizards and the Bulls are as good as the Cavs. If LeBron wants a ring this season, Cavs management better pull of a big deal before the trade deadline, or it isn't going to happen.

The Cavs dont have any peices that are intresting to anybody....unless they are talking "Z" or even Lebron....but both of those are not up to being traded.
The Cavs funk is simply because its mid-season. Lots of teams fall into a midseason slump...and few teams take advantage of it like the Heat have (due to Shaq)

They don't have what it takes to make a big trade.
Z is a big stiff making way too much money.
Gooden is relatively cheap and would be a loss to the over all situation if he was sent.
Snow, Marshall, Pavlovic: Is good for what?
Varejao: Fun player, good rebounder, fan favorite, would have some value.
Gibson, Brown: Young guys, unproven.

Can't, no way will they trade LeBron,Gooden,Ilgaukas or Larry Hughes and the rest of the players don't equal a blockbuster trade.

they cant pull off a big trade you have to have tradeable assets..they dont have players anyone would want...gooden, not a good teammate..hughes big contract,skills eroding..snow old varejao underachiever..besides that they signed pollard and wesley....donyell marshall old...damon jones headcase...pavlovic and newble...dwayne jones..2 rookie guards..no value..no trade..
