For me most of the blame is on Grossman...........He just didn't or doesn't have what it takes to be a champion........Can't blame the Bear's defense because they were on the field most of the time and it's only logical that they tired as the game went on........The Bear's offense hardly got any first downs while the Colts held possession for eons at a time..........CAT

Did those whom said it was the team whom lost the game did not watch the game? Basicly Grossman couldnt keep offense on the field meanwhile dropping the ball, two volitile interceptions that perhaps should of resulted in points, throwing well behind his receivers. Now if his boys were at fault at that then perhaps I am blind. Grossman made all the high school quarterback mistakes especially for a downpoor rain game. Colts played it as it should of been played. Grossman single handedly gave up the game.

The defense lost it at least as much as Grossman. The pressure wasn't there. They had one sack all night. The colts had the running and passing game working. I was expecting the Bears to bring this menacing defense that would shut down the run and be in Manning's face all game. It never happened. It was hard to believe it was the same D that shutdown the Saints. Urlacher had an okay game but he looked jittery before the game and I think he had a little too much nerves as did the whole defense. They played too tight maybe.

The first two of the above.

The Colts got into Grossman's head and he was flustered the whole game.

The Colts offense dictated to the Bear defense and forced them to play 84 plays of the Colts choosing. The Colts simply wore them out like they did Baltimore.

It didn't matter what plays were called. The Bears just came apart and there is no magic play for that.

Yeah it had to be Grossman. Iam a big Colts fan but I strongly believe if the Bears had a different QB they would have killed us. The D diddnt play sloppy, they just got tired, they were on the field way too long and Lovie made some good calls, not great but if they had a better QB they would have out scored us and they would have helped out the D.

The Colts have soooooo many more weapons than just Peyton Manning, and no defense can handle it. Defenses always cover Harrison and Wayne, leaving Clark and Adai open. Adai is an extremely good runner, and tandeming up with Rhodes keeps the backfield fresh.

Opposing teams always want to run the ball on the Colts, which is fine, because the Colts defense is designed to give up everything except the score. The defense is there to hit and tire out the offence, because the Colts offence can score at will (during the season) and exhibited terrific ball control during the playoffs.

That, and no cheerleaders. Colts had cheerleaders - Bears had none.

Weather conditions.

The Colts adjusted to playing with a wet ball, on a wet field; the Bears kept slipping and fumbling.

The entire Bears team also appeared to give up in the Fourth Quarter.

All of the above. Rex was bad, but the Bears have won in spite of his poor performances before. Defense was weak, so was the play-calling, although its not like there were a lot to call, since the defense was on the field most of the time.

I'd chalk it up to the defense. The Colts ran all over them. I wouldn't necesarily blame one person, Grossman didn't help, but they were pretty much out played on all fronts.

Grossman is the reason why we lost the game.
