it allows me 4 hours in oxford only.

You have to pay to go into some of the colleges - the trick is to walk in confidently and the porters will assume you're a student!

The coach takes ages to get to Oxford from Cardiff, as you have to change... it would be quickest to go by train, which would tke just over 2 hours.

Oxford uni - er actually it's lots of colleges - any one could take you 2 hours - if they let you in. But you can have a nice wander around Oxford in that time.
