He was all over the place! forced fumbles and had 1 interception. And without him, I wonder how the Colts season would have actually finished! He's a pro bowler that won't make the pro bowl because he was injured most of the season. However, I will not argue the fact that Joseph Addai or Dominic Rhodes could have been MVP as well. But I was more impressed with the Colts defense! I mean Grossman, Jones, and Benson didn't have a chance!! Bob Sanders put a hit on Benson that I'm sure he will never forget, unless he got a concusion, or brain damage from the hit. To be honest I thought the Bears running game would be a serious problem for the Colts! Boy was I ever wrong! But I am very happy that the Colts won!!! I suppose Dan Marino and Shannon Sharpe will no longer say that the Colts cannot win the big game! Well Marino; look who has a super bowl ring!! Where is yours?

Jones picked up a big chunk of that yardage in one play! So, one defensive breakdown for the Colts! other than that he wasn't a factor.

Actually you would've been right about the Bears run game if they could stay on the field, but Jones did have over 100 yards. I actually would say that Sanders, Addai, Rhodes, and Kelvin Hayden would've been my picks (pun intended... lol) Manning managed it excellently, but definitely not MVP material.

I agree with you. He was a big part of that win and he definetly deserves that award. There defense was weak all season long except the games sanders played in (Unfortunately only 4). He showed what he does to that defense when he is on the field and off, he gives his team confidence on every play and does his part to top it off. Theres no doubt he came up big with that pick and the force fumble, i just think manning was the fan favorite.

Yea I really thought that their were a few people who deserved more then manning, like Dominic Davis mad some key plays. Peyton Manning had an ok game, definetly not one that will go down in history as one of the greatest superbowl performances. I think he got more because of the struggles hes gone through to get to that point, which is bullshit but hes peyton manning and the NFL world sucks his dick.

I actually thought they'd do co-MVP with Rhodes and Addai. Manning being named MVP was a bit of a surprise.

Either Addai or Rhodes.

I figured Peyton for it, and was right. My second choice was Sanders though. He's the backbone of their D, imo.
