what are you going to do weld 4 ladas together to make 120 hp or get the jag to push you round ?

Firstly, no because the horse would still only go about 20-30mph

Secondly, no (if you put a 120bhp engine into the Lada) because the Lada would not handle as well as the Jag.
First corner you come to I'd bet you'd crash, that is if the Lada's chassis even withstood the power pulling off from the start without disintegrating! lol

actually NO!, your Lada would be pulled by 121 horses as 121 seperate beings so they could pull more and for longer than 1 horse ( torque ), but horsepower of an i/c engine is as 121 horses ; ie 1 horse but 121 times more powerful,
in the 'jags' case 120 times, hmmmm

What Jag has only 120hp? If you're thinking of the XK-120, it stands for 120mph.

Yes. As the Jaguar is manufactured in Britain, it is bound to break down anyway. Oil leaks come as standard.
