Ken is apparently supporting radical Islamists who want to build a 70,000 seater mega mosque in East London next to the Olympic site. Isn't this a sign of incredible naivety?

What's radical islam- can you explain? I don't get it.
There was no such thing as radical christianity during the IRA attacks. They were all cathlics.
Just because the terrorists have ben muslims dosen't mean you blame the other billion muslims out there.
SO what's yur explanation on radical islamists?

This is very curious. I suggest you read the reviews for Nick Cohen's new book (in all the papers last week). He questions why some people on the left in Britain are keen to lend support to fundamentalists overseas (many of whom are anything but left-wing).
I suspect he is playing some political game of his own. Reminds me of someone trying to ride a tiger. It's all right so long as you remain on the tiger's back....

It's the same mentallity as the punch line to this joke:
Man 1-Can you outrun a hungry bear chasing you in the woods?

See, Ken Livingstone believes that if he accommodates the radicals, they will leave him and London alone.
All it means is that they will leave him and London for next.

red ken will alwats suker up to the left,he seems to go against general opinion all the time,but gets re-elected.probably because theres more muslims in london than english.reference to people compring islamic terrorists with the ira.the ira never did anything in the name of christ. they were freedom fighters,and they USUALLY gave a warning beforehand.,unlike the muslims,who hope to kill as many innocent people as possible.
