I don't mind them as long as they're not big and venomous.
When I was younger I was scared of everything so my grandma and grandpa got a snake and made it my pet and so I got to touch it and stuff and that got me over that fear.
I think people are scared of snakes because they're not sure how to tell the difference of them and since they're so many you never know. Also movies make snakes out to be very vicious and they're not unless you provoke them.

Yes I do, my favorites are the ones sleeping on the road, it gives me a goal to aim for. Plus, my ex mother in law was petrified of them, if she knew there was a snake on the same block, she would stay away. I didn't believe it at first, so I got one, I haven't seen her in years.

I love snakes!!! My brother always had them when I was growing up so i HAD to learn to love them. I like spiders too! I know I'm not a normal girl.

yes, we had a 4 1/2 ft ball python, until she tried to bite my husband. But I would get another.

Oddly enough there's benefit in studying them. I'm sort of partial to Tarantulas, any specie of Hawk or Eagle and horses, myself.
