Add x^2 and 19x from both sides:
x^2+19x+84=0
(x+12)(x+7)=0
x=-12 and -7

First get everything on one side: x^2+19x+84. Next find two numbers that multiply to give 84 and combine to give 19: the answer is 12 and 7: (x+7)(x+12).

I think you need more information there. What is the power on the back x? You have x^? but if you don't know what the power is, you will need two equations to solve for two variables.
